I stayed 3 nights in a King Suite, and honestly, Lina from the staff was a gem! She had more titles than my favorite soap opera characters and helped with everything like an absolute pro.
The toilet was an uninvited guest in our suite—flushing on its own and definitely not the ghost we wanted. Definitely needs some TLC before I rebook my family reunion!

Great family-friendly stay with easy access to NYC. The room was spacious with a comfortable king bed, perfect for our needs. Breakfast options were varied, featuring waffles, eggs, and fresh fruit, which kept us fueled for our daily activities. Having free parking made our trip economical. The location was convenient with a bus stop right outside for quick trips to the city. The staff were friendly and helpful when we had questions. However, the pool had limited access due to swim school hours, which was a downside for us. The carpet in the common areas needed cleaning, showing signs of wear and tear. Wi-Fi was spotty at times, especially during peak hours. A little maintenance in the bathrooms would enhance the overall experience. Still a solid choice for families wanting to explore NYC without breaking the bank.

Location was a major highlight, with easy access to NYC via bus and plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. The staff was helpfully attentive, providing great tips for exploring the city. Unfortunately, the room itself felt outdated, and I had trouble with room keys that kept getting demagnetized. it was a decent stay for a family visit, but some improvements could make it much better.

missingWrote a review on Nov 08spacious suitepublic transporteasy accessdated room
Spacious suite offered nice room for the crew, perfect for unwinding after action-packed days. Direct access to public transport made jumping into the city super easy, like blasting off on the Millennium Falcon.
The room felt dated with a musty scent lingering in the air, like the remnants of some past adventure. The doors didn’t close properly, which can be unsettling, especially when you're hauling your precious cargo. Parking next door had a sketchy vibe, and the elevator traffic could test your patience after a long day. Cleaning could've been better during our stay; a vacuum wouldn't hurt, especially near those stained carpets.

The La Quinta serves as an excellent base to explore Manhattan. The convenience of the bus stop right outside the hotel made commuting easy, allowing me to reach the Port Authority Bus Terminal in just 20 minutes. The included breakfast was a great perk, featuring a variety of hot and fresh options to start the day. The suite was spacious and well-appointed for business stays.
Street noise can be disruptive at times.
